An industrial services site built to showcase expertise and strengthen credibility.
Midwest Service Center is a real industrial services client whose existing website hadn't kept pace with the business. It was doing its job on paper, but not for the people actually trying to use it.
The previous site packed everything MSC offers into dense blocks of text. Visitors had to read paragraph after paragraph just to figure out which service applied to them. The client's ask was direct: make it easier to understand at a glance, without dumbing down what they actually do.
We rebuilt the site around a clean, scannable layout — breaking the service catalogue into clear categories instead of walls of text, and building a visual system rooted in the industrial environment MSC actually operates in, so the site reads as credible at a glance.
The old site read like a manual every service explained in full paragraphs, with no way to jump straight to the one you actually needed. Visitors had to read past everything else just to confirm they were even in the right place. The rebuild treats the catalogue like a menu instead: each service gets its own card, its own icon, and one line that says what it does. Nothing is hidden behind a paragraph anymore you see the option, you know instantly if it's relevant, and you move on or click in. It's a small structural shift, but it changes how the entire site feels to use.

The visual system borrows directly from the shop floor: safety yellow for anything that needs attention, navy for the weight of five decades in the business, and grid-aligned layouts that mirror technical drawings rather than typical corporate web design. Machine gray and factory white round out the palette, keeping the interface calm everywhere the yellow isn't doing the talking. Typography stays bold and direct no delicate serif flourishes, nothing that would look out of place stenciled on equipment. The goal wasn't to look "sleek" in the way a typical SaaS product does it was to look like it belongs in an industrial plant, because that's who's actually going to trust it. Every choice, from spacing to contrast, was tested against one question: would this hold up on a tablet screen in a facility, not just on a designer's monitor. That's the bar the whole system was built to clear.
Reviewing how the existing site failed visitors — where the text-heavy layout made people give up before finding what they needed — and using that to guide the new structure.
Designing a scannable layout that replaces dense paragraphs with clear visual hierarchy, so a visitor can find the right service without reading everything on the page.
Building a reusable component system rooted in industrial materials and safety cues, so the site stays consistent as MSC adds new services down the line.
Every interaction was designed to provide immediate visual feedback without disrupting the clean, industrial aesthetic.

Industrial clients don't browse, they evaluate. They arrive with a problem and need to know in seconds whether this company can solve it. So every decision came back to the same test: does this earn trust, or does it just fill space?
Safety yellow that signals without shouting. Navy that carries five decades of credibility. Typography sized for someone reading on a tablet in a facility, not a design critic in a studio. Nothing is there because it looks good. Everything is there because it works.
